Sometime after the events of the last film, Tommy Jarvis is released from the local Hospital for the Criminally Insane, despite still having hallucinations of the mass murderer Jason Voorhees, whom he killed in part 4. He returns to Crystal Lake, now renamed Forest Green, to confront his fears, alongside his friend Allen Hawes. The pair visit Jason's grave during a thunderstorm, hoping to cremate the killer's body and finally end Tommy's nightmares. After digging up Jason's corpse, Tommy experiences flashbacks of his last encounter with Jason. As he furiously impales Jason's body with a metal fence post, two lightning bolts strike the post, restoring Jason as a revenant with superhuman strength. After killing Hawes, Jason dons his hockey mask (which Tommy has brought along with him). Tommy flees to the sheriff's office; there he attempts to warn the police of Jason's return, only to be arrested and jailed by Sheriff Mike Garris, who is aware of Tommy's institutionalization. Sheriff Garris presumes that Tommy is hallucinating Jason's return. On the road, camp counselors Darren Robinson and Lizabeth Mott get lost looking for Camp Forest Green. They discover Jason, who murders them both.
McLoughlin further decided to expand the series' thematic scope, incorporating action film elements and postmodern metahumor; when Jason is first encountered in the woods near Crystal Lake, the character Lizbeth comments that she and Darren should flee because she knows about proper conduct to survive a horror film. McLoughlin would further satirize the series itself, as Martin the gravedigger comments on Jason's exhumation, "Why'd they have to go and dig up Jason?" before breaking the fourth wall and addressing the camera with the observation, "Some folks sure got a strange idea of entertainment." In addition to Frankenstein, McLoughlin also cited as inspiration his love of Gothic horror, particularly the works of Edgar Allan Poe, and his Catholic upbringing; Jason Lives features the series' only explicit references to God, and during the climax a praying girl is spared by Jason (a similar scene, in which the same girl prays for Tommy while Megan performs CPR, then mouths "Thank you" while looking skyward was deleted from the final cut of the movie, apparently against McLoughlin's wishes; he recalled in the 2009 DVD's director's commentary, "Somehow it didn't stay in... probably too much sentiment").[14][15]
Jason Lives is the only film in the franchise to contain no nudity; the characters in the film's sole sex scene are both fully clothed, a conscious move on McLoughlin's part to distance the Friday the 13th films from their perception as morality tales in which premarital sex is punished by death. McLoughlin was pressured by the film's producers to have Darcy Demoss remove her shirt during the RV sex scene, but he only suggested the idea to Demoss, who refused.[citation needed]
Jason Lives was filmed in Covington, Georgia, an area close to Atlanta. The scenes involving the police department and town were filmed in Covington, while the camp scenes were filmed at Camp Daniel Morgan outside the city limits of Covington. In the film, Camp Crystal Lake has been renamed Lake Forest Green. Surrounding Camp Daniel Morgan are Smokey the Bear signs asking everyone to "Keep the Forests Green".[citation needed]
Aboard Roken's ship, Haja has spoken with Leia and gives Kenobi space to talk to her. While Leia is upset that Kenobi won't be coming home with her, she reluctantly accepts Kenobi's decision. Kenobi tells Leia to tell her father Senator Bail Prestor Organa about his efforts to rescue her. Kenobi also hands Leia the late Tala Durith's empty gun holster as a parting present. The two embrace and Leia tells Kenobi to come back. Before leaving, he resolves to face Vader one more time, even if it leads to his death.
Reva enters the inner courtyard of the Lars homestead and ignites her lightsaber. Owen and Beru open fire on Reva, blasting her. Reva deflects their blasts with the lightsaber. Meanwhile, Kenobi and Vader continue fighting on the rocky moon. Kenobi attempts to collapse a pinnacle on Vader, who notices that his strength has returned. Vader uses the Force to hurl part of the monolith back at Kenobi before the two cross blades. Vader uses the Force to cause the ground beneath Kenobi to collapse. He then attempts to bury his former master under the rocks. Believing himself victorious, Vader taunts Kenobi for thinking he could defeat him.
Vader replies that he is not his failure and that Kenobi did not kill Anakin. With a feral smile, Vader replies that he killed Anakin and vows to destroy Kenobi as well. Kenobi's anguish turns to resignation and he forlornly responds that his friend is truly dead before bidding the Dark Lord farewell. As Kenobi leaves, Vader calls out to him while rising to his feet. He screams Kenobi's name once again in helpless fury as Kenobi departs the rocky moon in his starship.
Kenobi tells Leia that she is wise, discerning, and kindhearted, which he describes as qualities from her mother. He also describes Leia as passionate, fearless, and forthright, which he attributes to her father. He tells Leia that her parents were exceptional people who bore an exceptional daughter. Before departing, Kenobi tells Leia that she can turn to him for help but stresses the need to be careful. Leia and her adoptive parents watch as Kenobi departs on his ship.
Back on Tatooine, Kenobi departs his cave with a toy in his rucksack. He rides on an eopie towards the Lars homestead, where Luke is playing. Owen asks what Kenobi is doing here. Kenobi accepts that Luke should be allowed to grow up like any ordinary boy. He also allows Owen to remain Luke's protector, which he vows to. Owen allows Kenobi to meet Luke. After meeting Luke, Kenobi rides back on his eopie into the desert.
The sixth part of the Guidelines on Interventional Ultrasound produced under the auspices of the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) assesses the evidence for ultrasound guidance and assistance in vascular interventions. Based on convincing data, real-time sonographic guidance for central venous access is strongly recommended as a key safety measure. Systematic analysis of scientific literature shows that in difficult situations and special circumstances US guidance may also improve the efficacy and safety of peripheral venous and arterial access and endovascular interventions. Moreover, the recommendations of this guideline endorse the use of ultrasound to detect complications of vascular access and US-guided interventional treatment of arterial pseudoaneurysms.

21. Letting churches in multi-point charges retain their property, including parsonages, if the local church that actually owns the parsonage disaffiliates?Yes. Local churches in The United Methodist Church own their property while also holding it in trust for the annual conference. Charges are not legal entities, and so do not hold title to property as such. Local churches do. When a local church disaffiliates under ¶2553, it takes with it all of its property, including any parsonages to which it holds title. While it is possible for it to choose for whatever reason not to do so, nothing compels a church owning such property to release it as part of its disaffiliation. This is true even if it is part of a multi-church charge in which the parsonage of the disaffiliating church provides housing for the clergy appointed to all of the churches in the charge. So what is a charge to do if the church that owns the parsonage for its clergy departs, taking that parsonage? This is a matter for the district superintendent to resolve under the superintendent's duty to establish and re-align charges (¶419.9 of the 2016 Book of Discipline). The remaining church or churches in the charge do not need to resolve this themselves. The district superintendent can create a new multi-point charge that is able to provide for the housing of the appointed clergy. 781b155fdc
